Affirmation of Intention of Conduct and Statement of Faith
In the Champaign-Urbana, IL area, empty tomb, inc. provides assistance to people who are materially-poor, as resources permit. This assistance includes food, clothing, furniture, and home repair. Also, some limited financial assistance is available through the Helping Work and Medical Fund. Available assistance is offered, free in Jesus' name, to any person in need (being guided by Jesus' comments in Luke 6:32-36). empty tomb also provides service discipleship opportunities for members of historically Christian churches. On a national level, empty tomb's research analyzes church giving trends. Its Mission Match project is designed to help increase missions giving through historically Christian congregations. The leadership team of staff, officers and board members are asked to sign an Affirmation of Intention of Conduct and Statement of Faith as part of their more specialized service through empty tomb, inc.
Helping Coordinator
Fulltime position starting: July 2010; minimum of two-year commitment
Hours: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
Salary: $20,000 per year
Benefits: HMO Insurance for individual/family, 10 days paid vacation plus 6
holidays
Duties include:
- Compassionate Administrator who loves Jesus, People, and Detail.
- Connect concerned Christians with discipleship opportunities that assist people in need.
- Assist low-income people through specific works.
- Preference given to qualified candidates who are also participating in empty tomb's Mission Match® Discipleship TreeTM.
