Results of your donations

The contributions to empty tomb enable a variety of works to help people in Jesus' name. In addition to the nationally recognized church giving research and Mission Match^®, empty tomb coordinates thousands of volunteer hours as concerned Christians in Champaign County, Ill., reach out to help people in need. We have weekly amounts available for both medical and helping referral needs, in addition to our eight weekly Helping Appointments. We also share food, clothing and furniture with people who need them. Staff also coordinate hundreds of volunteer hours in repairing the homes of people who own their homes, live in them, but can't afford to fix them. Here is a recent example of some people who were helped.

The woman of the house says they call her the "Miracle Lady" at her church. She has had three heart bypass surgeries. Volunteers supervised by empty tomb staff have fixed a leaky roof, repaired water damaged trim around the house, put on storm doors and a licensed plumber will soon give his time to fix a leaking drain — all things done free in the name of Jesus. The low-income man and wife own their own home, but needed help with major repairs. They have witnessed a great deal to us, and we have given tangible evidence of God's love — something they said they hadn't experienced before.

Please pray for people waiting for their homes to be fixed, as they often are also dealing with other hard circumstances in their lives.
